Complete The Guns of Reliance mission in borderlands 3. Meet Clay, free Rebel Kyle and Jon Ryan, and defeat Long Arm the Smasher.

When you return to Knotty Peak in Floodmoor Basin, Wainwright will ask you to find his colleague, Clay, in the town of Reliance. You can also find Hammerlock here, who offers the final mission in The Anvil, Malevolent Practice, if you wish to complete it now.

When you are ready, take the lift down and get a vehicle from the Catch-A-Ride. To find Reliance, turn right, cross the bridge, and follow the road to the left to meet Clay.

Walkthrough

    The front gate is locked, so follow Clay around the back and climb the crates to find an alternative path.

    Once inside, you will see a large group of COV enemies below. Use your vantage point to defeat them.

    Drop down to the ground and use the Vending Machines to restock if needed.

    Ahead, you will encounter another large group of COV. Prioritize eliminating the Badass Psycho as it will rush you.

    Treat Long Arm the Smasher like a Badass Psycho: back up while shooting. Use your Action Skill if you have it saved and focus on Long Arm, ignoring other COV until it is defeated.

    Return to Clay. Climb the roof of the gas station to restore power to Reliance.

    Before heading to Fort Sunshine, use the Vending Machines to restock ammo. Consider picking up the Irregular Customers Side Mission.

    Fort Sunshine is east on the map. Return to your vehicle and drive into the swamp to the east. Pick up the Typhon Log, Crimson Radio, and the second Hijack Target.

    The Dead Drop is in the far north of the map, behind a shack.

    A Dead Claptrap is west of this location; clear out the COV first.

    Head west to reach Fort Sunshine and dispose of the Maliwan Dropship and the COV that spawn behind you.

    Fast Travel back to Reliance and head out the west gate, taking the road north to the Lumberyard. You will need to go on foot from here, climbing ledges.

    In the Lumberhold, look for yellow paint in the corner to climb up and around the silo to reach the Crimson Radio.

    At the Loading Dock, use the nearby crate for cover against the troublesome COV.

    Wait on the platform for a crate or stack of logs to pass and jump on it. Be careful not to fall, or you will have to make your way back through the COV.
