Walkthrough
- 1Head to the Maliwan camp waypoint and clear out enemies. Note: Heavy armors are not available and this step will be skipped.
- 2Proceed to the next marked area to collect oversphere thrusters/jetpacks. Note: These items are not available and this step will be skipped.
- 3Go to the third marked area, kill the two Flash Troopers, and collect their backpacks. Note: Swords are unobtainable and this step will be skipped.
- 4Like the previous items, flamethrowers are unobtainable and this step will be skipped.
- 5Head to the waypoint to collect an Acid Tank from the floor. Then, proceed to the next waypoint to pick up the AI Chip. Alternatively, head to a marked area to find and kill a Dark Contaminator Heavy for an acid tank, then proceed to the next location to pick up the AI Chip.
- 6Return to the research center and interact with the robot body on the floor. Place the Flash Trooper backpack onto the robot.
- 7Connect the Acid Tank to the robot and melee it in. Ensure the Flash Trooper pack is secure by meleeing it a couple of times, then melee the Acid Tank.
- 8Head to the back of the area and turn on the power by interacting with the switch. Then, interact with the robot again to install the AI Chip.
- 9Wait for the robot to malfunction and listen to the dialogue.
- 10Kill the abomination that appears. Wait for the dialogue to end to complete the mission.
Tips
- Several steps in this mission involve collecting items that are not actually available in the game and will be skipped. Pay attention to the objectives that require you to find actual items like the Acid Tank, AI Chip, and Flash Trooper Backpacks.
- The final boss is an abomination. Prepare for a challenging fight.
