Sunken Desert (600 A.D.)

Upon entering the Sunken Desert, run forward to fall into the cave below.

Run against the moving sands to find a chest containing a Lapis.

Defeat the enemies and open the chest in the upper-left corner for a Hi-Ether.

Continue southwest, defeat more enemies, and open the chest for an Elixir.

Go to the southeast corner and open the chest to obtain an Aeonian Suit.

Head west and south to the next room.

Go down into the sandy area where a giant monster will emerge.

Go around the room and open all chests to collect a Hi-Potion, 5000G, Turbo Ether, Hi-Ether, Memory Cap, Muscle Ring, and Aeonian Helm.

After collecting the items, chase the monster when it exits and approach it to initiate a battle. Refer to the Bosses section for strategies against Melphyx.

After defeating Melphyx, a sparkling object will appear in the northwest area of the previous room; check it to get a Strength Capsule.

Continue out of the Sunken Desert.
