Alright, so you've made it to Terra Cave in 12,000 B.C.! It might look a little confusing at first, but don't worry, we'll get through it together. When you first enter, you'll see a ladder right in front of you. Go ahead and climb that, then head west to the next section.

Once you're in the next area, you'll find some people to chat with. Make your way to the room on the top level. This is a great spot to pick up some new weapons and armor for your party, so definitely check out what's available. After you've shopped, it's time to head down. Climb down the ladders, and feel free to pop into any of the rooms you pass on the way. You can even rest in one of them to fully recover your HP and MP if you need it. When you reach the bottom, make sure to save your game at the save point. Then, just head east into the next area.

In this next part, keep an eye out for a sparkling object in the corner. Go grab it – it's a Strength Capsule, which will give one of your characters a permanent stat boost! After that, head north. You'll run into some enemies called Mudbeasts. You might want to have Ayla use her Charm Tech on them to steal Rainbow Helms. These are really good pieces of equipment for your party at this stage of the game. I'd also recommend bringing Frog and Lucca along if you haven't already; they're pretty solid choices for this area. After you've dealt with the two groups of Mudbeasts, heal up your party and continue north. This will lead you to the bosses of this area: the Mud Imp, Blue Mudbeast, and Red Mudbeast. Don't sweat it too much; check the Bosses section if you need a hand. Once you've taken them down, just head north again and climb up the green chain to reach the Mountain of Woe. You're almost there!
