    In 1000 A.D., travel to Choras in the southeast and visit the inn.

    A man in the inn will tell you about a ghost haunting the Northern Ruins.

    Head north to the Northern Ruins and you will encounter Cyrus, who cannot be attacked.

    Leave the ruins and warp back to 600 A.D.

    Go to the Choras Inn (Tavern) and speak with a man who mentions his missing tools.

    Return to 1000 A.D. and go back to the Choras Inn.

    Speak to the man sitting down; he will tell you his wife has his tools at home.
