Alright, you've made it to Zeal Palace in 12,000 B.C.! It's a pretty grand place, and there's a bit to see and do here. Don't worry, I'll walk you through it.
Walkthrough:
- First things first, when you enter the palace, take a moment to chat with the folks wandering around. Get a feel for the place. Then, head to the upper-right part of this big main room and go north into the next area. The Nu will tell you this is the bedroom.
- Once you're in the bedroom area, go into the east room. You'll overhear a conversation between Schala and Janus. An assistant will come and call Schala away. After they leave, you can chat with Janus if you like before heading out.
- Next, check out the west room and talk to the guy in there.
- When you're finished exploring the bedroom wing, make your way back to the large main room. From there, go west and head down the steps into the central area. Then, go north into the next room.
- In this room, you'll witness Schala using her pendant to open a mysterious door. After she and Janus go through, talk to the two people who are left standing there. They'll notice Marle's pendant that you're carrying.
- Leave this room and head west. You'll find a Nu standing in front of the door to the Mammon Machine. Go into that room and proceed up the hall to the next area.
- Here, approach the red stone and press [A] to power up the pendant. This is a key step!
- Now, you'll need to backtrack to the center room where Schala initially opened that door. Approach the door again, and your pendant should activate, opening it for you.
- Enter the newly opened room. As you go forward, you'll encounter the Queen, and she's not exactly thrilled to see you. Dalton will then summon the Golem to fight you.
- Boss Fight: Golem
- Don't worry about winning this fight! Seriously, just let the Golem defeat you and your group. It's designed this way.
