Walkthrough
- 1Enter the number puzzle area. You have a 60-second time limit to Simian Slam (perform a ground pound) all numbers from 1 to 16 in order.
- 2After completing the puzzle, you will receive a GOLDEN BANANA (2).
- 3Head back through the tunnel and drop down. Continue around the block tower to reach boxes. Climb up these boxes.
- 4Head right and use the Tag Barrel to switch to Diddy Kong.
- 5Drop down and go to the block that leads to Funky's. Collect three bananas (3) in the tunnel and a banana bunch (8) on Bananaport #5.
- 6Press Z to teleport. You will automatically receive a banana bunch (13).
- 7Collect 18 bananas as you go through the tunnel, then climb down the pole.
- 8Backflip up the boxes in the storage room and go through the tunnel.
- 9Enter Cranky's lab to learn the Simian Spring move for seven coins. Hold Z while on a pad with Diddy's face on it to leap high into the air.
- 10Go back through the tunnel and head to the left side as you drop down the boxes.
- 11There is a tall stack of boxes; highjump to reach a Diddy pad. Hold Z to spring up to a ledge with three coins (24).

- 13Go back through the tunnel and drop down to the block. Head directly forward to reach a Diddy pad by the giant block tower.
- 14Simian Spring to the right to a banana bunch (23).
- 15Backflip to another banana bunch (28). Turn around and highjump to your right. Work your way around and backflip again to get another banana bunch (33).
- 16Jump the gap, then backflip to the block with a banana bunch (38).
- 17Backflip again to the last banana bunch (43), then highjump to a Diddy pad.
- 18Simian Spring to a Bonus Barrel. This will start the Peril Path Picnic bonus stage.
Peril Path Picnic Bonus Stage:
- You have a 60-second time limit. Two rows of Klaptraps (three per row) will appear.
- Use the control stick to aim at their mouths and press A to feed them watermelons.
- If a Klaptrap opens its mouth, it will start eating Banana Fairies.
- After five shots, you must reload by shooting the center melon button.
- Shoot the Klaptraps in this order: top-left, top-middle, top-right, bottom-left, bottom-middle, then reload. Continue reloading as needed.
- Once six Banana Fairies have crossed (bringing your SAVE counter down to 0), you win.
Continuing Walkthrough:
- Drop off the tower (you will take damage). Head to the side with the boxes leading to the Tag Barrel.
- Use the Tag Barrel to switch to Lanky Kong.
- Go behind the boxes leading up to the platform for four coins (17).
- Use the Lanky pad on the platform to inflate yourself, then float over to a Bonus Barrel on your right, above a door.
- Press Z while floating above it to drop down into the Batty Barrel Bandit bonus stage.
Batty Barrel Bandit Bonus Stage:
- The objective is to line up four Golden Bananas in the machine three times.
- The hit counter on the top of the screen shows how many jackpots you still need to hit.
- Press A to spin a slot. If you hit an item other than a banana, press A rapidly to reset the machine.
- Press A to start the game. When a Golden Banana appears, press A.
- Remain calm and press A deliberately; do not just ram the button.
Continuing Walkthrough:
- Go through the door that says "R&D".
- Climb the pole and collect 22 coins around it.
- Go through the door to reach a room with steaming gold under a mesh floor.
- Head left, then right to collect 15 bananas.
- Activate BANANAPORT #2 on the right side, collecting a banana bunch (20).
- Press Z to warp to the start and collect another banana bunch (25), then warp back.
- Climb the ladder in front of you and defeat the Kasplat for a BLUEPRINT (2).
- Head around to the left to collect 30 bananas.
- You will see three doors along the wall. The left door has a Guitar Gazump pad and is blocked by glass. The middle door has an auto-door. The right door has a ladder.
- Drop off the ledge on the left side and you will see another glass-blocked door.
- Play Trombone Tremor on the pad to open the glass.
- Shoot the banana balloon (40).
- Simian Slam the Lanky switch to start the organ. Kremling enemies will appear from the holes at the top.
