Walkthrough
- 1In the area with the cage trapping a Golden Banana, use Lanky's barrel to circle the cage. Hit the blue switch on the opposite side to open the cage for 8 seconds and grab the GOLDEN BANANA (5).
- 2Head back to the DK pile near the blue switch to unearth a RAINBOW COIN.
- 3Travel to DK Isle, swap to Chunky, and enter Gloomy Galleon. Swim through the tunnel and surface. Slam the blue Chunky switch on the ground below the Kasplat.
- 4Switch to Tiny Kong using the Tag Barrel. Stand between the yellow and green Wrinkly Doors. Use Tiny's barrel above the water and Ponytail Twirl to reach it.
- 5Enter the gate opened by Chunky. At the end, jump to land and grab the GOLDEN BANANA (4).
- 6Go back through the pipe using Tiny's barrel. Head to the other side and swim through the tunnel to the exit.
- 7Head left towards Crocodile Isle until K. Rool's ship is low enough to jump on. Go to the back of the ship to find two red propellers. Defeat the Kritter.
- 8Find a Tiny pad on a small platform near the ship's body. Use it to warp to the top of the ship and grab the BANANA FAIRY (3).
- 9Play your sax on the music pad to make Squawks appear with a GOLDEN BANANA (5). A Hunky Chunky barrel will appear on an island near Banana Fairy Island.
- 10Go clockwise around the ledge to K. Rool's arm. From the arm, Ponytail Twirl into the mouth, entering the lobby of the final level.
- 11Turn right and find a Tag Barrel. Switch to Chunky. Use the Chunky pad next to the lava to become invisible and reveal vines.
- 12Swing across the vines to reach BANANAPORT #1 and B. Locker. Since you likely have over 100 Golden Bananas, you can get past him.
- 13Swing back across the vines to the corner with BANANAPORT #1. Swing across the vines here to reach a Bonus Barrel.
- 14After getting GOLDEN BANANA (4), swing back across the vines and head to the Tag Barrel. Switch to Donkey Kong.
- 15Shoot the Coconut Switch above the K. Rool door B. Locker guarded to create a bridge to the Kasplat on the island. Cross the bridge, defeat the Kasplat, and obtain the game's final BLUEPRINT (5).
- 16Cross the bridge again and exit back to K. Rool's mouth. Drop from the side near the lobby entrance, moving Donkey towards the ship.
- 17Head down clockwise, killing the Kritter, and swing across vines into a secret cave to find Snide's HQ.
- 18Exchange your blueprint for a GOLDEN BANANA (4). You can now replay eight mini-games by pressing up C.
- 19Use the Tag Barrel in Snide's HQ to become Diddy Kong. Near the Tag Barrel, use a Diddy pad to Simian Spring to a Bonus Barrel.
Mini-Games:
- Kremling Kosh: Difficulty 4/10. Shoot Kremlings from barrels within 60 seconds to score 28 points. Red Kremlings are worth 2 points, green are worth 1. Requires good reflexes; anticipate red Kremlings and shoot aggressively. Reload the watermelon gun by shooting the center piece.
- Batty Barrel Bandit: Difficulty 2.5/10. A slot machine game. Line up four Golden Bananas three times. Press A to stop a slot.
