Follow this detailed Donkey Kong 64 walkthrough for Part 41, guiding you through the mill area, collecting coins, and obtaining Golden Bananas.
Walkthrough
- 1Dodge boulders and collect coins (46) in a precarious area. Slow down in front of TNT carts and speed up when one is behind you.
- 2Collect two coins (48) in a dual-tracked area with chains. Lean for two coins (50) and jump over a crash. Continue collecting coins.
- 3Slow down in front of closing gates and rush through when they open. Hit the bell to open the third gate, leading to a dark and rainy area.
- 4Avoid a log and slow down at a scary face, rushing forward when its teeth open. Navigate slopes and turns, then go through another door.
- 5Jump over cogs, avoid a Krash, and head through a green tunnel. Avoid a second crash, jump more cogs, and go through the last door.
- 6Pull the left lever for coins. Slow down in front of fire blasts and speed up when they are gone.
- 7Head through the final tunnel, slowing down and jumping over rocks. At the end, Squawks gives you your first GOLDEN BANANA (2).
- 8You appear by the well in the mill area. Swim across the river to the mill.
- 9Head left around the mill to BANANAPORT #1 and enter the doorway. Use the Tag Barrel to switch to Donkey Kong.
- 10Head to the back of the area and jump up a stack of crates to a "?" box. Slam it to reveal a DK switch and a banana bunch (60). Pound the banana bunch to open a gate near the start.
- 11Quickly head into the opened gate and find three levers marked by dots. Shoot the balloon (70) in the room.
- 12Pull the levers in the order: 2, 1, 1, 3, 2. This starts the conveyer belt, crushing three barrels and moving a Golden Banana outside the barn (unobtainable until night).
- 13Switch back to Chunky Kong and exit the mill. Head left around the mill and look for a big door with a spider. Primate Punch it open.
- 14Head forward and left inside. Primate Punch the "?" crate next to the wall to uncover a tiny hole. Punch the crate on your right to uncover a triangle pad.
- 15Get the banana bunch (29) and play your instrument. It will start raining and the mill will work.
- 16Pick up the steel barrel near you and leave the shed. Head out of the mill and back into the door by Bananaport #1.
- 17Jump onto the conveyer belt and place the barrel at the end. Find the third barrel at the back of the room and place it on the belt. Crushing all three barrels grants you a second GOLDEN BANANA (3).
- 18Switch back to Donkey Kong and leave the barn. Cross the river and head to the back, past the Klump.
- 19Go through the blue tunnel, collecting five bananas (75) and a BANANA MEDAL (1). Head to Bananaport #2.
- 20Jump on the mushroom to bounce up to the Tag Barrel and become Diddy Kong. Head left to Bananaport #1.
- 21Look opposite the tree to see a small mushroom. Use it to bounce into a Diddy barrel, getting two banana bunches (37).
- 22Fly to the top of the clocktower and shoot the moon switch to make it nighttime.
- 23Drop to the bottom of the tower and use Bananaport #1 to go to the mill area. Turn around and cross the river.
- 24Kill the Krypt ahead and go to the left of the shed. Backflip up the boxes, collecting bananas (40), then Simian Spring up for a banana bunch (45).
- 25Spring again to reach the alcove that leads inside the shed. Play your guitar on the pad. Squawks will appear with a flashlight.
