Trespasser

After the introductory cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically), speak with Mother Giselle. Your dialogue choices here do not affect the outcome.

You will find yourself in the courtyard of the Winter Palace. Speak with any companions present to catch up on recent events; each conversation triggers a cutscene.

Locate the ambassadors from Orlais and Ferelden on the eastern side of the courtyard.

Speak with both ambassadors to begin the Exalted Council from the main palace gates. Ensure all companion conversations are finished before entering, as this is your last opportunity.

Upon entering, the Exalted Council begins but is cut short by an unexpected incident. After a brief cutscene, you return to the courtyard.

Follow the blood trail from the Qunari warrior eastward to a trellis. Climb the trellis and enter the building through an open window.

Search the courtyard thoroughly for any notes on companions.

Inside, proceed east into a room with an active Eluvian (a magical mirror). Select companions to join your party.

The Eluvian transports you and your party to The Crossroads. Follow the blood trail south-east. Before proceeding, turn left and loot a skeleton in the corner to begin the side quest Halla Treasure Hunt.

Interact with the blood-stained mirror to the south-east.

Head back up the steps and use the active mirror up the next set of steps to the south, which leads to the Elven Mountain Ruins.

Elven Mountain Ruins: Upon entering, proceed south through the hallway until you encounter a dead Qunari. Inspect the corpse.

Head up the stairs. A chest to the north is protected by mage fire; attempting to pass through it will result in instant death. Instead, head south to find Qunari turned to stone. Use the mirror behind them to proceed.

Using this mirror transports you to a broken bridge. Use the mirror to the south to reach the Smoking Tower.

In the Smoking Tower, you will encounter spirit elves. If the Inquisitor drank from the Well of Sorrows, they can be placated. Otherwise, you must fight a Spirit Champion, two Spirit Archers, and two Spirit Shadows. Prioritize eliminating the Archers and Shadows while drawing the Champion away.

After defeating the spirit elves, approach the tower from the west and interact with the mosaic to learn information about Fen’Harel. The barrier will disappear, revealing another active Eluvian.

This Eluvian transports you to the Silent Tower. Head south and ascend the stairs, where you will find more Qunari corpses. Inspect one and walk around the tower to trigger companion commentary.

Interact with the mosaic on the tower to learn more about Fen’Harel. Descend the stairs to another mosaic at the bottom.

Breaking this barrier grants the new skill Anchor Discharge, which makes your party invulnerable for a short time and can serve as a light source. Use it in this room to reveal a wolf statue needed to repair the broken bridge.

Interact with the wolf statue. You will be ambushed by Spirit Shadows. Use barrier skills and area-of-effect attacks to defeat them.

Return outside and use the Eluvian to go back to the bridge via the Smoking Tower.

Place the wolf statue on the pedestal at the bridge to extend it. Continue west over the bridge to encounter Qunari who will attack on sight. They are not a significant threat, but be aware of the Defenders' charge.

After defeating the Qunari, head west into the Forgotten Sanctuary.

Inside the sanctuary, you can observe a fight between Qunari and spirit elves from the top of the stairs, or join the fight. All mobs are hostile.

Move further west through the sanctuary, eliminating any remaining mobs. At the westernmost point, you will find a puzzle. A clue is inscribed on a tablet opposite a wolf statue.

Light the brazier the wolf statue is looking at (second on the left from the stairs).

Press the button on the wolf statue.
