Learn how mirrors in Duke Nukem 3D reflect shrink rays, mimic Duke's movements, and can be destroyed.

Mirrors appear in several levels of Duke Nukem 3D, displaying a mirrored version of Duke and his environment that mimics his actions. Their primary function is to reflect shrink rays, whether they originate from you, an Alien Drone, or a mounted weapon. This reflection capability allows you to shrink yourself, which is essential for progressing through a level or reaching secret areas. You can also use mirrors to observe areas they reflect. Notably, Microwave Expander blasts cannot be reflected by mirrors.

If you wish to destroy a mirror, you can do so with an explosion or by throwing a Pipebomb at it (detonation is not required). Destroyed mirrors leave behind shattered glass on a wooden board.
