Navigate the Crane Room and Green Column in Duke Nukem 3D. Find items, defeat enemies, and reach the exit.
Walkthrough
- 1Board the conveyor belt in the Crane Room and wait to be picked up.
- 2Upon landing, you will be attacked by a Trooper and a Captain behind some barrels. Steroids can be found there.
- 3A Large Medikit is in the opposite corner, and Protective Boots are on the same wall.
- 4Be extremely careful of the potent acid pit, which can damage you even without direct contact.
- 5If you lack a Jetpack, save your game before attempting to cross the acid pit. Equip your Protective Boots, run up the acid fall, swim under the obstacle, and swim up to a platform with barrels.
- 6A Trooper is behind the barrels on this platform. Microwave Expander Ammo and a Large Medikit are also present.
- 7Exit the small door to face an Alien Drone and a Trooper.
- 8Collect Chaingun Cannon Ammo and Shotgun Shells from the window sill.
- 9Past the window, a switch unlocks an elevator leading to the beginning of the area.
- 10Alternatively, a passage just before the window leads to another elevator that also descends to the same area.
- 11Proceeding left then right from this area leads to a room with barrels and three Troopers.
- 12You can enter the pool in this room to find two Devastator Ammo and an Atomic Health, guarded by Octabrains.
- 13A switch near the pool allows access to the top of the barrel moving complex.
- 14On top, find Pipebombs, two Chaingun Cannon Ammo, and a Large Medikit.
- 15Drop down to the side opposite the door (into the water to avoid damage). Before dropping, consider using Pipebombs to clear the area below, which contains a Battlelord, two Octabrains, and Slimer Eggs. A Jetpack is very useful here.
- 16After defeating the Battlelord, collect the Atomic Health near the pool and dive in.
- 17Swim down the green column.
- 18Take out the four Octabrains, possibly using Pipebombs.
- 19Reach the very bottom of the green column to find the Exit Symbol.
Tips
- The acid pit is extremely dangerous; use Protective Boots or a Jetpack if available.
- A Jetpack is highly recommended for dealing with the Battlelord in the lower area.
- Consider using Pipebombs to clear out enemies before dropping into the area with the Battlelord.
- The level E4L10, The Queen, is a boss level with a par time of 10:50 and a 3D Realms time of 5:25.
