Walkthrough for Chapter 25: Traitor Revealed in Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright. Learn enemy placements, strategies, and boss fight details to defeat Iago.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Begin on the southern end of the map. The initial enemies include Generals and a Strategist to the north, Heroes and a Great Knight to the west, and Berserkers and a Great Knight to the east.
  2. 2
Defeat the northern defenders first. The Strategist drops an Arms Scroll.
  3. 3
Wait for the Great Knights on the east and west to attack, then deal with reinforcements that spawn to the east and west (Bow Knight and Great Knight to the west; Dark Knight and Great Knight to the east). The western group spawns twice.
  4. 4
Be aware of Berserkers and a Maid that may approach from the top of the map.
  5. 5
Clear out all enemies before proceeding north.
  6. 6
In the central chamber, a Maid and a Sorcerer near a Launcher and Fire Orb will harass you. Prioritize disabling them.
  7. 7
In the western chest room, a Sorcerer will appear, followed by reinforcements of a Sorcerer and a Hero.
  8. 8
The eastern chest room also has a Sorcerer, with two Maids spawning as reinforcements.
  9. 9
Wait for reinforcements in the chest rooms and defeat them, along with the Great Knights guarding the hallways to the chest rooms.
  10. 10
Position your units outside the range of the turrets before advancing. Heal or protect injured units as needed.
  11. 11
Consider using a Dragon Vein at the southern end of the turret room to disarm enemy units, though it won't affect units near the turrets.
  12. 12
Once the turret room is clear, focus on luring Iago's supporters away and defeating them, and looting the chests.
  13. 13
Chests contain: Waterwheel (east chest), Boots (west chest), Pursuer (west chest), and Great Festal (east chest). Some chests may require Chest Keys.
  14. 14
Iago's guards drop an Arms Scroll (from a Berserker) and 10,000G (from a Strategist).
  15. 15
The boss, Iago, has strong offense, range, high HP, and good Resistance. He is guarded by a General.
  16. 16
Defeat the General guarding Iago first, as he protects Iago. Magic-users and Sting Shuriken are effective.
  17. 17
After the General is defeated, engage Iago. He drops the Hagakure Blade.
Tips
  • The enemies have generally increased levels, but are not significantly stronger than those in previous chapters.
  • Units like Ninjas and Falcon Knights are effective against Iago.
  • Magic-users and Sting Shuriken are recommended for defeating Iago's General guard.
  • Using a Dragon Vein can disarm some enemy units, making them less of a threat.
  • Units with the Locktouch skill can open chests without needing Chest Keys.
  • Arms Scroll (dropped by a Strategist near the start and a Berserker later)
  • Chest Keys (potentially from Sorcerers)
  • Waterwheel (east chest room)
  • Boots (east chest room)
  • Pursuer (west chest room)
  • Great Festal (west chest room)
  • 10,000G (dropped by a Strategist)
  • Hagakure Blade (dropped by Iago)
