Chapter 9 Land of Gods

Complete Chapter 9 Land of Gods in fire emblem fates birthright. Learn about MyCastle, forging weapons, and the Izumo Castle Interior battle.

New MyCastle Buildings:

• Smithy: Forge weapons up to +2 quality by combining two +1 weapons (which require four normal versions each). You can also trade 5 of one ore type for 1 of another, and name your forged weapons.
• Prison: Allows you to capture enemies using Orochi’s personal skill.
• Accessory Shop: Buy aesthetic accessories that offer minor benefits in MyCastle battles.
• Hoshidan Glade: Purely cosmetic, for filling empty castle space.

Invasion 1:

Defend your castle against random foes in a scouting battle with more aggressive enemies. You must defend the throne. Lilith will assist but cannot be controlled. Enemy attacks on buildings have no long-term effect.

Izumo: Castle Interior

Objective: Rout the enemy.

Enemies: Dark Mage, Knight, Outlaw, Cavalier, led by Zola (Dark Mage).

You begin in Izumo and meet Izana. All your units start in a single room. Prioritize escaping the room by moving units with high movement speed forward. Defeat the Archer, Mage, and Cavalier outside. Be aware that Sky Knights and Ninjas are effective against the common magic-users.

The castle interior is constrained, so consider pairing up units for increased power or splitting your party to deal with Nohrians on the exterior. After a few turns, Hinata (Samurai) and Oboro (Spear Fighter) will appear as allies. Talk to them to recruit them under your control. If you take too long, more Nohrian troops will arrive, including two Cavaliers to the east and two Dark Mages to the west.

After defeating the initial enemies, proceed north through a bottleneck guarded by Knights. Beyond this is Zola and his retinue. Use ranged attacks to defeat his forces without directly engaging Zola. Ninjas with the Locktouch skill can open doors and chests. The right chest contains 5000G and the left chest contains a Speedwing.

To defeat Zola, mass your forces outside his room and rush him with Sky Knights and Ninjas, which have high Resistance and effective weapons against him. You will receive a Master Seal for defeating Zola.
