Walkthrough
  1. 1
After a series of cutscenes introducing Kaden, you will find yourself in the center of Nohr with Azura.
  2. 2
You will then be embroiled in a battle with the objective to escape by reaching the glowing red tile at the top center of the map.
  3. 3
The southern end of the map has numerous Nohrian soldiers, including Garon (LV 30 "Nohrian King"), two Great Knights, and other diverse but less powerful units.
  4. 4
You are joined by Kaden, a Kitsune LV 14 with high Avoidance but relatively low attack.
  5. 5
Most enemies have ranged weapons like Javelins, Hand Axes, or Steel Bows.
  6. 6
Tip: You can win this battle in approximately three turns by pairing your protagonist with a flying unit and flying to the exit.
  7. 7
If you choose to fight, you will be confronted with a bottleneck guarded by a Great Knight and units with ranged weapons. Lead with a character with high Avoidance, followed by a ranged character for support.
  8. 8
Alternatively, you can use the Dragon Vein on the right side of the map to freeze the water, allowing for more maneuverability. However, this will cause the mundane enemy units to rush to the east.
  9. 9
After a few turns, reinforcements arrive: Xander (Paladin), Laslow (Mercenary), and Peri (Cavalier).
  10. 10
Xander is stronger than the Great Knights but not as powerful as Garon. He is located on the western end of the map.
  11. 11
As you fight your way through, you will score 3000G from an Outlaw and a Hammer from a Great Knight.
  12. 12
Make your way west to the Dragon Vein. Using it will freeze the water but cause enemies to rush towards you.
  13. 13
If you choose to fight the frozen water scenario, form a defensive melee wall with ranged units behind them, or use impassable parts of ships to defend ranged units.
  14. 14
Take a Ninja near the chest north of Garon to obtain a Dracoshield (Permanently increases Def by 2). Give Garon a wide berth, as he likely won't move unless you enter his movement range.
  15. 15
Laslow has a "Killing Edge" sword that boosts his Critical Rate and is best dealt with at range.
  16. 16
Peri is less threatening unless you are a Beast unit, as she wields a "Beast Killer" weapon.
Tips
  • The Einherjar Shop allows you to craft "Einherjar" clones of existing or randomly generated characters to bolster your army. These units can participate in missions, require their own gear, and can level up and be promoted, but cannot participate romantically.
  • You can upgrade Lilith’s Shrine to increase Lilith’s stat growth past level 20.
  • Consider whether to use the Dragon Vein to freeze the water or maintain local superiority by not activating it.
  • Be wary of Xander's ranged attack and Laslow's high critical hit chance.
