How to Get Clues from Informants

Alright, so you wanna know how to get the intel on the bigger crimes in Gotham? It’s all about finding these informants. Think of them as the snitches who know where the real trouble is brewing for the next patrol.

How to Find and Interrogate Informants:

1. Clear the Area: First things first, you gotta deal with the regular thugs causing a ruckus. Defeating them not only gets you XP and salvage, but it also drops Clues (look for those red magnifying glasses!). Plus, there's usually a higher-ranking dude in the group – that’s your informant.
2. Identify the Informant: The easiest way to spot them is by using your AR Targeting. Just hold down the [AR Button] and highlight enemies. The informant will have a question mark hovering over their head. Easy peasy.
3. Make Them Vulnerable: Now, you have two ways to get them ready for questioning. You can either sneak up on them and catch them totally off guard, or you can go head-to-head and deplete their health bar until it’s red. Either way works.
4. Interrogate: Once they’re vulnerable, press the [Grab Button] to grab them, and then hit the [Interrogate Button] to get the info. This is key because it gives you a good chunk of Clues.

Getting enough Clues during a patrol means you’ll unlock a new premeditated crime for your next run. You can see how many Clues you’ve got and how close you are to unlocking more on the right side of your screen. It’s super important for keeping your character leveled up and geared out with the best stuff!
