How to Defeat Clayface and the Clay Homunculi

Launch the 1.2 - Disturbance at Dixon Docks case from the Case Files menu. This will teleport you outside a warehouse in Gotham City.

Enter the warehouse and use your AR scanner to search for clues about Clayface’s whereabouts. Purple highlighted storage boxes are not what you need.

Look beneath a storage box on the left side of the vehicle inside the warehouse to find footprints.

Follow the footprints to the interior of another warehouse, which is guarded by Clay Mimics.

Defeat all Clay Mimics until a cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) begins, revealing Clayface.

Follow Clayface through Gotham City towards the sewers entrance. Look for upturned vehicles if you lose track. If you are not quick enough, you will fail the mission and need to start again.

Once in the sewers, follow the trail and defeat groups of Clay Mimics along the way. Follow the white markers to stay on the correct path.

You will reach a boss room where you must fight three brute-like versions of Clayface.

Phase 1: Dodge Clayface's attacks, including diving into the ground and tunneling towards you, and arm strikes that can hit from range. Be ready to dodge three times if he uses his arm strike consecutively.

When a brute version of Clayface is defeated, watch for a green hue surrounding its body as it plants its fist into the ground. This indicates it is healing. Interrupt this animation with an attack to prevent it from replenishing its health and the main boss health bar.

Phase 2: When Clayface's main health bar is around 75%, a cutscene will initiate. You will still fight the 3 brutes, but must also contend with smaller humanoid mimics. Focus on the weaker mimics first.

The brutes will now use a ranged attack, launching a lump of clay. A red marker on the edge of your screen will warn you of this incoming attack. Dodge at the last second.

Phase 3: When Clayface's health is around 25%, you can defeat each brute completely for a short time. They will reemerge with smaller humanoid mimics after a few seconds.

When you defeat a smaller humanoid clay mimic, it will explode in a marked radius after a brief period. A red circle will indicate the damage area, so move out of it quickly.
