Alright, so you wanna zip around Gotham like a pro, huh? Fast travel in Gotham Knights is super handy, but you gotta earn it. It’s tied to Lucius Fox and his fancy drone tech. Basically, you need to progress the story a bit until you meet up with him after dealing with the Penguin in Case File 2.1. He’s chilling on top of the Foxteca building in the Otisburg district. Once you chat with him, he’ll explain that his drone system can get you anywhere, but it’s blocked by these smaller GCPD drones. You gotta clear those out first to make each area a fast travel zone.

How to Scan the Drones:

So, Gotham is split into eight districts, and each one has a “Secure Fast Travel” quest. Your job is to deactivate the drones in each district. You’ll use your AR scanner by holding down a button (the source doesn't specify which, so keep an eye out for the prompt!). This takes a few seconds, so you’ll need to keep your scanner focused on the drone as it flies its route. Lucius points you to the first one in the Financial District to get you started. The trick here is to get close enough, so sometimes waiting on a high building or structure is your best bet.

Dealing with Shielded Drones:

Now, some drones have a blue shield. These tricky little guys can only be scanned when they land on a recharging station, and their shield drops for a moment. You’ll find these stations on nearby roofs. The easiest way to handle them is to find a recharge station and just wait for the drone to land. Scan it quick when the shield flickers off!

Here’s a quick rundown of what you’ll face in each district:

• Financial District: Two drones here – one normal and one shielded. For the normal one, just watch its path and scan when it’s close. For the shielded one, hang out at a recharge station on a rooftop. The fast travel point will be west of The Belfry.
• Southside District: Just one shielded drone. Wait by the recharge station between the two big brick chimneys. The fast travel point is south of Cobblepot Steel.
• Old Gotham District: Two drones – one normal, one shielded. For the normal one, try standing on the air conditioning unit on the roof west of Gotham City Hall. For the shielded drone, wait at the recharge station on top of Gotham City Hall itself. The secure point is in the center, near City Hall.
• Tricorner District: Two normal drones here. Head to the church, and from the roof, you can see a water tower you can grapple to. Wait there for a drone. The second can be scanned right from the church roof. The drone location is on the east side of the island.
• Bowery District (in Otisburg): This unlocks the Bowery Fast Travel. You’ll scan three normal drones. Try waiting at the end of the highest crane south of the marker for one. Another is on top of the big building north of the crane. The last one can be scanned from a window cleaning platform on that same large building. The location is southeast of Wayne Tower.
• West End District: Two shielded drones and one normal. For the shielded ones, wait at a recharge station. The normal drone can be scanned from the small platform connecting two buildings north of the Gotham City Gazette. The fast travel point is just north of the Gazette.
• Gotham Heights District: Two shielded drones. Just wait at any of the recharge stations on the surrounding roofs. The fast travel point is northeast of the Aparo Bridge.
• Bristol District: Three shielded drones. You’ll just need to wait at the numerous recharge stations scattered around the rooftops. If you see one landing far away, you’ve got a few seconds to get there and scan it. The location is in the northwest of the district.
