Alright, let's talk about the 'Truth and Purpose' quest in Outward. This one's a bit of a branching path, and how you handle the conversation with the priests will determine your rewards and your standing within The Holy Mission of Elatt. You've got two main options here, so let's break them down.

Option 1: Oliele stays with The Holy Mission of Elatt

If you're aiming for the 'complete success' outcome and want to stick with the Mission, you'll need to choose your dialogue options carefully. The key points the priests will discuss revolve around Elatt himself: how the Scourge spell was made to kill him, how he became the Living Thought by refusing to die, and how he still thinks and acts like a human, making mistakes and acting on instinct. They'll also mention that his powers aren't unlimited and the Vigils are just a temporary measure.

By going this route, you'll be promoted to a Champion within the Holy Mission. This comes with two sweet passive skills: ‘Sanctified Protection’, which gives you +3 Physical Protection, and ‘Acceptance’, boosting your Hot and Cold weather defense by +8. On top of that, you'll get some new armour pieces:

• Candle Plate Armour: This gives you +3 Protection, +28 Physical resistance, +30 Lightning resistance, +30 Fire resistance, +23 Impact resistance, +6 Cold weather defense, but -12 Hot weather defense. It also has a +6% Stamina cost and -6% Movement speed, with 530 Durability.
• Candle Plate Boots: These offer +2 Protection, +20 Physical resistance, +15 Lightning resistance, +15 Fire resistance, +13 Impact resistance, and +3 Cold weather defense. They also add a +4% Stamina cost and -4% Movement speed, with 530 Durability.

Option 2: Oliele leaves The Holy Mission of Elatt

This path is for those who might want a different reward. If you choose this option, you'll get Oliele’s Radiant Wolf Sword, which packs 30 Lightning damage, 25 impact, and has a 1.0 attack speed. You'll still get the ‘Sanctified Protection’ passive skill, but you'll be promoted to a Templar instead of a Champion. To trigger this outcome, you just need to fail the negotiation with the rebel priests. It’s that simple!

After you've sorted things out with the rebel priests, have a chat with Oliele about her next steps. Then, you can head back to Monsoon and report to Cardinal Bourlamaque to wrap up the quest.
