Chef Iasu hangs out in the marketplace in the eastern part of Berg, the main city in the Enmerkar region. Just chat him up and ask about the quest. He'll tell you to bring him one Manticore Tail, and the good news is, it's a guaranteed drop, so you only need to hunt one down!

Option 1: The Royal Manticore

For the best chance at a tail, you'll want to hunt the Royal Manticore. It's located in the Enmerkar Forest region, specifically northwest of the Cabal of Wind Temple. The map image shows it clearly marked with a blue circle. When you fight it, try to keep your distance. It shoots ice bolts that spread out, so dodging them is key. If you can take it down, you'll also get the Starchild Claymore, which is one of the best swords in the game – definitely worth the effort!

Option 2: Parched Shipwrecks (Easier)

If the Royal Manticore sounds a bit too tough right now, there's a more reliable spot in the Abrassar region. Head northwest of the city of Levant to an area called 'Parched Shipwrecks'. You'll see it marked on the map with red triangles. The cool thing about this location is that you'll often find a Manticore already fighting two Assassin Bugs. Wait for it to finish them off before you engage. By then, it'll already be weakened, making the fight much easier for you. Just like with the Royal Manticore, be mindful of its elemental bolts and try to keep your distance while managing your stamina.

Once you've snagged that Manticore Tail, head back to Chef Iasu in Berg. He'll thank you for your trouble and reward you with two gold ingots and some Bread of the Wild food. Easy peasy!
