The Disturbance in the Saw Mill

Get through the Saw Mill disturbance in Rise of the Tomb Raider! Learn how to deal with Trinity soldiers and find the hidden Remnant.

Alright, let's get this Baba Yaga DLC started! To kick things off, you'll want to fast travel to any Base Camp in the Soviet Installation and make your way towards the saw mill area. Keep your eyes peeled as you approach, because there might be a pack of wolves chilling to the southwest, or some Trinity patrols hanging out to the north or east of the saw mill. It's a good idea to take them out before you get too close to the main objective.

Once you can see the saw mill, you'll spot a few Trinity soldiers milling about. There are three of them on the main level. You can either go in stealthy and pick them off one by one with your trusty ranged weapons or silent takedowns, or you can just go in guns blazing if you prefer. Either way, clear them out!

After you've dealt with the soldiers, your next objective will be to find a hidden Remnant woman. Luckily, the game makes this pretty straightforward. You'll get objective markers pointing you to three different hiding spots. Using your Survival Instincts will help you pinpoint her location even further.

You'll need to investigate these three spots. The source text mentions they're all lockers: one west of the large saw blade on the main level, another one also west of the large saw blade on the main level (yes, it says that twice!), and a third locker is on the second floor of the saw mill.

Once you find her, a short cutscene will play, and you'll have completed this part of the mission. The Remnant fighter will then give you a follow-up mission to keep the DLC going.
