Follow Lara Croft as she makes a daring escape across a collapsing bridge and faces off against Deathless soldiers in Rise of the Tomb Raider's 'You Shall Not Pass' section. Learn enemy tactics and how to survive.
Alright, so you've just made it through the gate, and things are about to get hairy! That bridge in front of you is literally falling apart. Your main goal here is simple: RUN!
Walkthrough
- 1As soon as you're through the gate, sprint forward onto the bridge. It's going to start collapsing immediately, so don't hesitate. You'll need to make a few jumps to keep moving onto the next stable section.
- 2When you get to the very end of the bridge, there's a ledge just out of reach across a gap. You'll need to sprint right up to the edge and use your grapple axe to snag it. Once you've grabbed on, quickly climb up to safety.
- 3You're not out of the woods yet! You'll have another encounter with those Deathless soldiers. There are about five Archers positioned higher up on the left, so watch out for their arrows. You'll also face a couple of melee attackers and three shielded soldiers who love to throw Molotovs.
- 4This fight might seem tough, but don't worry, there are plenty of Greek fire vessels scattered around the area. Use these to your advantage to take them out quickly! If you happen to run out of those barrels, remember that your Grenade/Poison Arrows are super effective. Aim them near the enemies' feet to stun or deal massive damage. You need to clear them all out to proceed.
- 5Once the area is clear, loot all the fallen enemies and then head towards the main building. A cutscene will trigger, marking the end of this section.
Tips
- Use the Greek fire barrels whenever possible – they're your best friend in this fight!
- If you're low on Greek fire, switch to Grenade/Poison Arrows. They're great for crowd control and can stun enemies.
- Keep moving and use cover whenever you can, especially from the Archers on the left.
- Don't forget to loot the bodies after the fight; you might find some useful supplies.
