Follow this detailed walkthrough to successfully reach the tower in Rise of the Tomb Raider, covering enemy placements, stealth tactics, and item locations.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
When you regain control in the market area, craft arrows. Observe the six enemies ahead.
  2. 2
Use stealth to get through the area quickly. If detected, you'll need to use traditional shooter methods.
  3. 3
From your initial position, note the enemy placements: two by the fire, one patrolling, and three in the back right corner.
  4. 4
Hop into cover behind the short wall to the right. Wait for the patrolling guard to pass, then sneak up and perform a silent takedown.
  5. 5
Shoot a Poison Arrow at the ground between the two stationary guards ahead to eliminate them both.
  6. 6
Move to where the stationary guards were. Use Survival Instinct to locate the three enemies in the distance to the right.
  7. 7
Perform a headshot on the central guard with a Poison Arrow to take out all three.
  8. 8
Head back to the start and find the yellow and white tent to the left to collect a Walkie-talkie [Cut Short 02/06].
  9. 9
Move to the opening guarded by the three enemies. Destroy the Walkie-talkies hanging on the tents on either side [Cut Short 03/06 and 04/06].
  10. 10
To the left, find a tree for Hardwood. To the right, find a side-passage with a crate of Salvage and more Salvage next to a flare.
  11. 11
Follow the slope down to an underground area. Sneak up and knife the two enemies, or use a Poison Arrow to take them both out.
  12. 12
Grab Mushrooms and Ammo from the left if needed. Pick up Magnesite Ore on the left in the next hallway.
  13. 13
At the end of the hallway, enter the next room. Stealthily kill the four enemies: one with his back to you at the tunnel exit, one by a stone pillar to the right, and two by a dead Remnant.
  14. 14
Use a Poison Arrow on the two enemies by the dead Remnant after taking out the guard with his back to you and the one by the pillar.
  15. 15
In the side-tunnel opposite the room entrance, find a crate of Salvage, reagents, and Magnesite Ore.
  16. 16
Loot the room for Ammo and grab a bottle or can. Near the exit archway, find Mushrooms to the right and Byzantine Coins to the left.
  17. 17
Move through the archway towards the light to a new area.
  18. 18
Move to the sandbags and peek left. Use a bottle to craft a Molotov or a Poison Arrow to take out the two enemies inspecting the wall.
  19. 19
Behind you, find a Mushroom by the back wall. In the corridor to the right, find reagents and a second Mushroom.
  20. 20
Move over to the hole in the wall the enemies were inspecting and Lara will squeeze through.
  21. 21
Sneak left and use a single Poison Arrow on the group of four soldiers and two prisoners to kill them all at once.
  22. 22
After a scene plays, use Survival Instinct to find a weak wall in the corner. Use your pickaxe to break it down and proceed inside.
  23. 23
Drop down to the next area to find the ammunition cache.
