Follow this Rise of the Tomb Raider walkthrough to find the Lost Tomb in Syria. Discover relics, murals, and coin caches as you explore ancient ruins.
Walkthrough
- 1Proceed forward along the Cliffside path until you reach a dead end. Hop up onto the cliff ledge in front and climb the wall to the top.
- 2Upon reaching the ledge above, you'll see a small entrance with water flowing from it. Before approaching, follow the cliff ledge to the right to find a chest containing Relic [01/02 - Gilded Cross].
- 3Move to the circular entrance and Lara will automatically climb through. Continue into the cave until a scene plays.
- 4Climb the cliff to the left until you reach the entrance to the right. Look on the ledge to the right for a Relic.
- 5After a brief cut-scene, explore the room. You'll want to decipher the pillar in the center of the room (a Monolith that reveals hidden items on the map), but you'll need to increase Lara’s proficiency in the Greek language first.
- 6Find and interact with the following Murals to boost your Greek language skill:
- A circular Mural [01/05 - Greek] next to the tunnel entrance.
- 7A Mural [02/05 - Greek] in the alcove to the right of the central pillar.
- 8A Mural [03/05 - Greek] on the wall at the top of the small ramp behind the pillar.
- 9After examining these three Murals, your Greek language skill should reach level 1, allowing you to interact with the pillar.
- 10Translate the Monolith to reveal the location of a Coin Cache [01/03] nearby. The cache is on the ground to the right of the pillar. Approach the location indicated on the map for a button prompt.
- 11Use the tunnel leading from the area. Find the final Mural [04/05 - Greek] in the tunnel before interacting with the weak wall to break it down.
Tips
- The Monolith requires Greek language level 1 to decipher.
- Examine all available Murals to increase your Greek language proficiency.
Translating the Monolith reveals the location of a Coin Cache [01/03].
