Pick Axe – Lara’s starting weapon. It can be used to manipulate winch mechanisms, break down weak segments of walls in ruins or caves, open Lockbox collectibles, and farm reagents like Magnesite Ore.

Lockpick – Acquired by completing the first side-mission ‘Communications Breakdown’. Used to unlock locked doors and specific, locked Strongboxes.

Rope Arrows – Used to link rope-covered winches to other nearby rope attachment points, allowing manipulation of mechanisms. Can also link rope-covered pillars to create climbable ropes for accessing inaccessible areas. Can be used to remove blockages to cave entrances or doorways covered by rope. Can be used to swing to distant platforms by hitting suspended pillars.

Combat Knife – Used to cut pieces of rope in the environment, including supports for elevators and suspended objects for challenges.

Wire Spool – Transforms Lara’s pick axe into a grapple axe. This can be used by jumping and attaching to horizontal supports with hooks to swing across gaps between platforms, or to jump and attach to high up ledges, then climb the rope to reach the ledge.

Rebreather – Acquired around 2/3 of the way through the game. Allows Lara to stay underwater indefinitely without needing to surface for air.

Broadhead Arrows – Used outside of combat to access hard-to-reach locations. Can be shot into sections of weak wood, which Lara can then climb onto as a temporary platform. Multiple arrows may be needed for larger sections.
