Follow our step-by-step guide to Save Jonah in Rise of the Tomb Raider, including enemy encounters, zip lines, and finding collectibles.
Alright, let's get Jonah out of there! When you get control of Lara, your first move is to head out of the building through that hole in the wall. Follow the walkway all the way to the end, and you'll find a zip line. As soon as the button prompt appears over Lara's head, hit it, then jump to the ledge on your left.
You'll be going down a series of zip lines (stay left) and then across some exterior buildings (head right). Drop down and quickly take out the enemy on the small platform. Hop down to the wooden platform below and use your grapple axe on the beam above you to get to the next platform. From the ramp here, run and jump to the next ledge – there's a short cutscene. After that, move along the beam to your right.
Climb out of the water silo. You have two options: either drop to the ground and use the ladder, or stay up high and use the beams to swing across to the far side of the area. Once you reach the zip line there, use it to get to a circular observation platform in the distance.
As soon as you land, sneak up and take out the guard. Before you hit the next zip line, follow the platform all the way to the end. You'll find an Explorer’s Satchel tucked away there. Now, look down into the courtyard below and you'll see a vehicle. Shoot the red barrels next to it to blow up its Fuel Tank – this is part of the Scorched Earth 04/04 challenge. Now, use the zip line to enter the building.
Once you land, look for the spiral staircase nearby and head down to the bottom. You'll find a Document [04/04] on a crate right under the stairs. Head back up and go through the open doorway ahead. This leads to another cut-scene, and the objective updates to Find Jonah in the Prison Block. The mission is called Whatever It Takes, and rescuing Jonah from Konstantin is worth 15 experience points.
