Navigate the blue-walled and red-lit areas, overcome spike traps, and trap Juggernauts in Silent Hill: Downpour Part 36.
Walkthrough
- 1Follow paths that turn right in the blue-walled area, looking for a long hallway at a 90-degree turn. Blue walls may have white arrows to guide you.
- 2Upon reaching the red-lit area, time your movements to avoid projectiles from spitting foes. Take all left-hand turns until you find the grey hallway exit.
- 3Proceed down the grey hallway, carefully navigating spike traps. The first trap activates twice, the second once, the third twice, and the fourth five times. The fifth trap is purely visual.
- 4After the spike traps, reach a grating and press the button on the left to call an elevator.
- 5On the elevator, collect [SHOTGUN SHELLS] from a body.
- 6At the first stop, defeat two Screamers. The second Screamer lags behind, allowing for melee if desired.
- 7At the second stop, face two Screamers and one Minion. Use the shotgun. Afterwards, go up the right path to find a control room containing a [FIRST AID KIT], more [SHOTGUN SHELLS], and a button to continue the elevator ride.
- 8At the third stop, battle three Screamers and one Minion. Use the shotgun.
- 9After the third stop, the elevator will break and tilt. Jump off to a nearby catwalk, head to the end, and jump to the ledge on the left to grab a [FIRST AID KIT].
- 10Continue along the path, past ladders and stairs, until you reach a section of flooring made of iron sheets.
- 11As you move forward, a steel cage will fall. Go around it on the left. Another cage will fall; go around it on the right.
- 12The bridge will collapse. Quickly press R2 to save yourself. Then, alternate holding L2 and R2 to climb the bridge.
- 13After reaching safe ground, you will lose your weapons and flashlight. Head into the adjacent room and examine the floor where reflections differ.
- 14To the right is an exit door; to the left is another room. Find the wheel lever and rotate it to enter the other room.
- 15In the next room, observe two Juggernauts. To trap them, use the two buttons on the left to drop cages and a middle button to activate a floodlight that attracts enemies to the cages.
- 16Activate the floodlight, wait, then activate it again. Immediately run to a cage button and trap a Juggernaut. Repeat this process to trap the second Juggernaut.
- 17Once both Juggernauts are trapped, a central control console will descend. Flip the room, hit the console button, and flip the room again.
- 18Return through the blood room to the next area filled with spinning blades. Stand on the nearby symbol and wait for the blades on the right to stop, then run right, hugging the wall.
- 19Stand on the next symbol and wait for the distant blades to stop, then run up the middle (diagonally left) to the subsequent symbol.
- 20Stand on this symbol and wait for the blades on the left to stop, then run left, hugging the wall.
- 21Pick up the [FIRST AID KIT] from the cabinet.
- 22In the next room, check the floor for an exit to the upper right. Find and flip the wheel to change the room configuration.
- 23Before exiting, retrieve another [FIRST AID KIT] from the location where you found the first one.
- 24Proceed through the exit and down the hallway until you find a hole to jump into, leading to the prison yards.
- 25A (cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically)) will show a Minion being repelled by light. Head to the floodlight and use it to herd all three Minions into the cage on the left. Use the edges of the light to guide them.
- 26Once all three Minions are in the cage, leave the light by the gate to prevent their escape. Head to the watch house and pull the lever to trap them.
- 27Go past the house to where the Minions were and find the sledgehammer. Use it to break the lock on the nearby gate and climb the ladder.
- 28Use the light to pen up three more Minions. The light will be unreliable. Capture one Minion at a time, as they tend to stay in once trapped.
- 29Head to the watch house and pull the lever to trap them again.
- 30Go to where the Minions were and rotate the crank on the door to open the gate sufficiently.
Tips
- Pay attention to wall colors (blue and red) and hallway shapes to navigate.
- Time your movements carefully when passing spike traps and spinning blades.
- The shotgun is recommended for combat encounters on the elevator and in later areas.
- Use the floodlight mechanic strategically to trap enemies in cages.
- The sledgehammer is required to break a lock on a gate.
