How to do: Get caught by patrol cars to spawn enemies, then go to the police station (enter from the north) and use the dispatch radio with the following codes: D375, C466, B557, A648.

Painting Locations:

• DESPAIR Painting: Inside the Police Station, in a small room behind the dispatcher's door.

SUNRISE Painting: Inside a booth at the HILLSIDE SUBWAY entrance.

WONDER Painting: In the bottom apartment of the Hillside Apartment complex, near a rocking chair.

CERTAINTY Painting: In a LOCKUP north of the Pearl Creek subway. The passcode is '827', found on a note. The lockup is behind a metal door with a hole in it, by an alleyway on the right-hand side of the road.

HOPE Painting: In the HARDWARE STORE in Chastain Heights (south of the Monastery). Get the storage room key from the cash register, enter the storage room, move a box, and retrieve the painting from a vent.

FREEDOM Painting: Inside Napier's van in Pleasant Creek, east of the bridge. Open the back doors.

Note: This quest is covered in-depth in the "Exploring Pearl Creek Part 1" section. It is not ideal for a non-kill playthrough.

Items Needed:

• Candy Bar: From a vending machine on the south side of the road after leaving Hillside Apartment and following the mailman through an alley to a playground.
  • Note (EASY puzzle mode): Vending machine is near the southeast corner of the Brite St. and Laymond Ave. intersection.

Note (HARD puzzle mode): Vending machine is in the alley north of the apartments, where the mailman walked.

Old Coat: Requires completing the Centennial Building to access. (Details cut off in source).

Note: Completing this quest opens up the subway tunnels for fast travel.

Alien Toy: Back yard of a house before entering the Hillside Apartments.

Hyper Blaster: After leaving the Hillside Apartments, head north through the alley to a small playground.

UFO: Inside Logan's Park. Past the fountain, take the right path.

Circle Emblem: North of the Gramophone House, in a fenced-in park north of the alley that leads back to Brite Street from the movie theater.

Robbie: Instead of entering the Monastery, go right down stairs, past a fountain, down more stairs, and left to find a barrel.

Aglaophotis: In a fenced-in yard to the right of the Mirror, Mirror house in the port district.

Important Note: Completing the main quest in this part of the guide will result in the JOKE ENDING.
