    After defeating the Screamer, use your piece of wire to power the lift.

    Explore the rooms accessible from the lift. The room to the left contains a cleaver in the drawers and a [FIRST AID KIT] in the cabinet.

    In the room across from the first, find CLOTHES on the bed. Pick them up to complete an objective.

    You will also find the [POLICE BADGE] and [RUSTY KEY] items with the clothes.

    Head back outside and follow the drag marks to a house containing the game machine.

    Follow the power cables from the game machine outside to a generator.

    Warning: A Screamer will attack you once you pass the chainlink fence near the generator.

    Shake off the Screamer's attack, then either kill or incapacitate it.

    Turn the generator's crank to restore power to the shack.

    Head back inside and use your game tokens on the game machine to play.

    To solve the game machine puzzle, hit 'Activate' to raise the water level. Guide the ball to one of the glowing '(!)' holes at the top, avoiding the non-glowing holes.

    EASY mode solution: The first ball can head left. The middle ball goes straight right and up. The third ball sticks to the right side.

    NORMAL mode solution: Aim the first ball up the middle to the left hole. The second ball goes straight up, hits wood, skirts right of a non-glowing hole, then goes northwest to the middle hole. The third ball follows a similar path but goes further up, to the right of a second non-glowing hole, before reaching its destination.
Tips
  • Screamer enemies can now be encountered in the real world without introductory (cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically)) sequences.
  • When a Screamer uses its scream ability at range, you must wiggle the left analog stick (control stick) to break free.
  • Reader Charles Johnson noted that if you activate the generator and return to the ticket machine *before* picking up the clothes with the badge and key, the Screamer may not appear. This might be related to carrying the Mourning Badge.
