Welcome to the Vanguard Protocol, a challenging co-op mission designed to test your team's coordination and mastery of Spectre Divide's core mechanics. This walkthrough will guide you through the objectives, enemy encounters, and environmental hazards, ensuring your team can successfully complete the mission and earn valuable rewards.

Mission Briefing:

The Vanguard Protocol requires you to infiltrate a heavily fortified research facility, retrieve sensitive data on experimental weaponry, and exfiltrate before the facility goes into lockdown. Expect heavy resistance from automated defenses and elite security forces.

Phase 1: Infiltration and Data Acquisition

1. Entry Point: Your team will spawn at the Western access tunnel. Immediately split your Spectres to cover both the main corridor and the ventilation shaft access. Use one Spectre to clear the initial wave of security drones while the other secures the vent entrance.
2. Navigating the Labs: Proceed through the laboratory complex. You'll encounter patrolling guards and automated turrets. Coordinate your Spectres to flank enemies. For example, have one Spectre engage a turret head-on while the other disables it from a side angle.
3. Data Terminal Access: The primary objective is to access three data terminals. The first is located in the main research chamber. Be prepared for an ambush as you approach. Use Duality to simultaneously defend the terminal and engage incoming hostiles. The second terminal is in the server room, guarded by heavier units. Prioritize eliminating the heavy units before attempting to hack. The third terminal is in the bio-containment wing. This area is prone to environmental hazards like toxic gas leaks. Use one Spectre to activate environmental controls to clear the path for the other.

Phase 2: Extraction

1. Securing the Exfil Point: Once all data is acquired, a new objective marker will appear, indicating the extraction zone at the Eastern helipad. The facility will begin to initiate lockdown procedures, increasing enemy spawn rates and activating more advanced defenses.
2. Fighting Through Lockdown: Your team must fight their way to the helipad. Expect coordinated assaults from multiple directions. Utilize your Spectres to create crossfires and control chokepoints. If one Spectre is downed, the other must prioritize its revival while holding off enemies.
3. Extraction: Upon reaching the helipad, a transport will arrive. Defend the zone until the transport is ready for boarding. This is the final, most intense phase. Use all your abilities and Duality switching to survive the onslaught.

Remember to communicate with your teammates, share ammo and health packs, and leverage each Spectre's strengths. Success in the Vanguard Protocol relies on seamless teamwork and intelligent use of the Duality mechanic.
