The Spectre Division is an elite rebel faction in Spectre Divide, introduced in August 2020. They are a successor to A.X.I.S. and are composed of highly trained pilots utilizing advanced Prime Shift technology. This technology allows their ships to enter a heightened combat state, granting them significant bonuses when dealing or taking damage.

History:
The Spectre Division was a secret movement developed by the Rebels, recruiting elite pilots. Their origins are mysterious, involving an unknown benefactor who anticipated Keres' motives. Burr revealed the movement's existence to the rebel population, instructing pilots to gather intel on the Imperium Liberatus. Later, it was revealed that V-153 was the benefactor, providing blueprints for technology to counter the Liberatus. In Showdown, the Spectre Division destroyed the Quantum Replicator Core, forcing Keres and her followers to flee.

Ships and Technology:
Spectre R&D focuses on Prime Shift technology. Notable ships include:

• Switch: A Titan-class ship that can mind control spawned ships and debilitate enemy vessels in Prime Shift.
• Breaker: A fast fighter-class hull that boosts allied ship damage and inhibits enemy shield regeneration.
• Deadeye: A long-range attack hull that disables enemy propulsion and boosts its own in Prime Shift.
• Comandante Carrier: The flagship, boosting ally Prime Shift charge rate and providing fire support.
• Arc: Capable of bombarding enemies with its broadsides and firing energy projectiles that chain in Prime Shift.
• Caustic: A debuffer that weakens enemy ships, making them take more damage.
• Subverter: Another debuffer that applies negative status effects to disrupt enemy movement and firing.
• Torus Dreadnought: The pinnacle of Spectre Technology, capable of dispatching large enemy forces and countering swarms with its irradiation field.
• Infiltrator: An advancement of the Breaker, capable of burning through enemy shields and boosting friendly shields.
