    Immediately after landing, return to the Calnus to view some Private Actions (29-32) with your party members. Examine the Item Creation console in the Meeting Room for a scene with Welch.

    There is a Save Point at the bottom of the stairs as you leave the Calnus. Search behind the left wing of the cloaked Calnus to find a Treasure Chest holding Recipe Memo 17 (except Xbox version). This recipe lets you create the Crystal Wand for Lymle. You need the Taffeta Ribbon found in the Military Facility and some Oak from Harvesting Points here on Roak. You will also need to boost Meracle's Crafting skill to level 6.

    Head east until you reach the shore. Encounter the first of Roak's people on the pier to the southeast.

    Walking along the beach, you may see sparkling spots with items that have washed up on shore. These spots respawn (be brought back to life at a checkpoint after death) and you can collect items from them again later. The items you receive are random, occasionally including rare items like a Lesser Demon's Fetish.

    At the open area south of the pier, the path splits. Take the route south along the beach first to hit Gathering Points and collect items on the shore.

    The path will circle around back to the northeast. Open some Treasure Chests and do more Harvesting and Mining before crossing the bridge to the west.

    Travel south to the Tatroi Area.

  • Honeybee (Insect): 2,468 HP, Weak to Earth. Drops Accuracy Seeds, Bee Stinger, Aquaberries.
  • Unicorn Wolf (Animal): 2,776 HP, Resists Fire, Weak to Water. Drops Saber-Toothed Tiger Fang, Wolf Fang, Blueberries.
  • Kobold Bandit (Animal): 3,084 HP, Resists Fire. Drops All-Purpose Ceramic.
  • Waving Pincers (Insect): 4,510 HP, Resists Water, Weak to Thunder. Drops Protection Seeds, Rotten Fish, Warped Carapace.
  • Axe Beak (Bird): 3,393 HP, Resists Wind, Weak to Earth. Drops Rotten Fish, Basil, Giant Bird Feather, Common Egg, Peryton Droppings.

Harvesting & Mining:

  • Harvesting: Caterpillar Fungus, Lemon, Oak (except Xbox), Red Herb, Vegetables, Wooden Stick.
  • Mining: Gold, Silver, Thunder Gem.

Tips
  • Players of the Xbox 360 version won't find Recipe Memo 17 in the chest and will have to wait longer to obtain it.
