Navigate the Old Road to the Sanctuary and the Sanctuary itself in Star Ocean: The Last Hope. Discover treasures, items, and face the boss Kokabiel.

Return to the area where you met Barago and use the Wind Ring to dispel the ivy barrier across the corridor.

The Bunny Call skill lets Sarah summon a bunny to ride on the field, requiring Bunny Feed. Focus can be taught to Meracle or Sarah. Haggling is Myuria's skill for better selling prices. The Raven Staff boosts INT more than the Mysterious Scepter. Recipe Memo 15 allows crafting the Void Recovery Unit. Recipe Memo 03 can create a Sacred Spear. Bracteate can be found as treasure or rarely dropped by Metal Golems if Bacchus is in the party. Defeating the first Master Wizard yields Weapon Data 139: Demonhead Staff.

Make your way to the eastern exit and enter the Sanctuary.

Upon entering the Sanctuary, a scene shows the Grigori (Kokabiel) in the center. Use the Save Point. New monsters include the Ancient Chimera and Early Psynard, with the latter capable of using _Plasma Cyclone_.

Recipe Memo 28 allows crafting the Mental Stimulant. Holy Chainmail can be given to Reimi or Meracle. The Memorial Plate is used to create the Memory Plate ship furnishing. Harvesting Points may yield a Blue Rose for the Funereal Bouquet. Mining Points offer ores like Angelstone, Meteorite, Mithril, and Ruby. Two Hidden Mining Points are south of the dais, and a Hidden Harvesting Point is east of the Recovery Point and another at the eastern tip of the central area.

After preparing, climb the steps to the dais to confront Kokabiel.

Kokabiel is joined by four groups of four Kokabiel Spawn. Kokabiel's attacks often involve the Spawn, directing them to swarm targets. Her attacks include arm laser slashes, _Flying Darts_, and _Arctic Impact_. In Rush Mode with full Spawn, she can use a _Kokabiel Rush Combo_.

Kokabiel is difficult to damage unless striking weak points. One group of Kokabiel Spawn is invincible; defeat all other Kokabiel Spawn to damage Kokabiel.
