Walkthrough

    Speak to NPCs to discover available Quests.

    Once a quest-giver explains the situation, the Quest is automatically accepted and added to your Quest log.

    Complete the requirements specified for the Quest.

    Return to the quest-giver to report completion and receive your reward.

    New Quests generally become available after specific story events.

    Completing some Quests may unlock additional Quests.
Tips
  • You can view your open Quests by selecting "Data"→"Quests" from the Main Menu.
  • Only Quests you are currently working on are displayed in the Quest log.
  • Completed Quests are removed from the list. Keep track of completed Quests if you are working toward a Trophy/Achievement.

  • How to Complete: Talk to Rich outside the base on the approach to the Calnus.

Leg Collector

  • Planet: Aeos

  • Available: After Armaros event

  • Quest Details: Deliver Insect Leg x10.
  • How to Complete: These are dropped by Adephaga, Adephaga Drus and Polyphaga. Teach Faize "Entomology" and raise the skill level to increase item drop rate from insects.

Egg Collector

  • Planet: Aeos
  • Location: Exploration Base - Research Lab
  • Available: After completing Leg Collector Quest

  • Quest Details: Deliver Insect Egg x8.
  • How to Complete: Insect Eggs also are dropped by Adephaga, Adephaga Drus and Polyphaga, and can be found at Aeos Harvesting points.

The Little Lost Girl

  • Location: Woodley - Item Shop
  • Available: After Lymle joins the party

  • Quest Details: Find her daughter.
  • How to Complete: The proprietor won't open the Item Shop until you complete this Quest. Talk to the little girl near the west entrance to Woodley Village.

The Curious Kitty

  • Available: After completing The Little Lost Girl Quest

  • Quest Details: Find her cat, which ran off into the Silent Forest.
  • How to Complete: The Silent Forest is the area between the Van Elm Region and Thalia Plains. To enter, you need the Faerie Orchid from the Van Elm Region's southern tip. The cat's location is marked on your minimap (a small map displayed on your HUD (heads-up display — the on-screen icons showing health, ammo and the minimap)).

  • Location: Tatroi - East part of town
  • Available: On entering Tatroi

  • Quest Details: Find a pendant he dropped in the ocean.
  • How to Complete: Check the beach in the NE Astralian Continent nearest the Calnus. The pendant is on the edge of a tide pool there.

Missing Brother

  • Location: Tatroi - Twin Book Shop
  • Available: After Black Eagle event

  • Quest Details: Find his missing brother and deliver a note.
  • How to Complete: Find him on the dock in Tropp. He won't be able to return to Tatroi, however, until you complete the two Sand Bird quests.
