Dungeon 3: House of Gales
Defeat Margomill in Zelda: A Link Between Worlds using the Tornado Rod to stun its eye and collect the Pendant of Wisdom.
- 1Drop down to face the wheel-shaped boss with a central eyeball.
- 2Wait for Margomill to approach, then use the Tornado Rod to hover over and stun it.
- 3While on top, slash the eyeball repeatedly.
- 4Jump off when the eyeball retracts and flies up.
- 5Approach the boss carefully and slash its exterior to reveal the eyeball again. You can also fire arrows from a distance.
- 6Repeat steps 3-5 until Margomill is defeated.
- 7Collect the Heart Container and the Pendant of Wisdom.
- The boss's eyeball is its weak spot.
- Be sure to have enough space behind you when slashing the exterior, as you will bounce backwards.
- Watch out for Margomill's movements to avoid being knocked off the stage and taking fall damage.
- Attacking the boss while it moves perpendicular to you can be easier than when it comes directly towards you.
- Using arrows allows you to destroy spinning discs from a safe distance.
Lake Hylia Tour
Complete the Lake Hylia Tour in Zelda: A Link Between Worlds to find Maimai #22, a Bottle, and a Letter in a Bottle.
- 1From the House of Gales, go right and plunge into Lake Hylia. Swim up to the corner stairs leading to land.
- 2Remain in the water and follow the river up: go one screen up and one screen left. Before the bridge, dive to rescue submerged Maimai #22.
- 3Swim into the bridge to find a secret area underneath. Head up the stairs and speak to the Bird Lover for a Bottle.
- 4Return to the top-right corner of Lake Hylia, where the stairs back to land are. Swim directly south, past the House of Gales, and when at the bottom-right corner, swim right to the next screen.
- 5Where the river splits, dive to rescue submerged Maimai #4.
- 6Follow the river up to the next screen. Continue following the river to find shallow water at the end and a Letter in a Bottle.
- 7Warp to Kakariko Village and go to the Milk Bar near the south. Speak to the owner to get Premium Milk in your Bottle.
- You can deliver the Premium Milk now by climbing Death Mountain and reaching the Tower of Hera, then heading east of it. If you have already beaten the Tower of Hera, you can warp there.
- If you chose to do the House of Gales first, you may want to finish that dungeon before heading for the Tower of Hera.
- The next page will detail the Tower of Hera east side.
- To reach the bottom-left corner of Lake Hylia, swim across the lake from the area south of Link’s House.
