Navigate the Swamp Palace Area in The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. Find Maimai, collect rupees, and learn how to deal with cracked rocks.
Walkthrough
- 1From the vacant house, go one screen down to enter the Swamp Palace area.
- 2Head right to find Maimai #61 stuck on a wall. Merge next to it and emerge behind it to free it.
- 3Go left to find an empty cave. Return here after beating the Thieves' Hideout dungeon to claim a chest containing 100 rupees.
- 4Outside and to the left of the cave, you'll find statue pillars and a tall pillar. If you need to return to Hyrule, merge into the pillar and walk behind it to find a doorway to Hyrule.
- 5Head south from the pillar to find a deep pool. In its center is Maimai #63, which you can dive to rescue.
- 6Continue south to reach the Swamp Palace itself. You can enter, but progress is blocked by water.
- 7Head right from the dungeon and you'll see a giant cracked rock.
- 8Go up from the cracked rock and dash into the pillars to dislodge Maimai #62.
- 9Continue further up to return to the entrance area.
- 10To deal with the giant cracked rocks, return to the Big Bomb Flower.
- 11Carefully haul a big bomb to the cracked rocks in the Swamp Palace area. Be aware of monsters along the way that can cause the bomb to explode. Use arrows or other projectile attacks to clear a path. Familiarize yourself with the area layout and enemies.
- 12From the Big Bomb Flower, head one screen right, then one screen down. Use bushes for cover and fire at Taro monsters from afar, then cut through bushes and proceed right.
Tips
- The cracked rocks require a Big Bomb Flower to destroy.
- Be cautious when transporting the Big Bomb Flower, as enemies can cause it to detonate.
- Use projectile attacks to clear enemies from a distance while transporting the bomb.
- 100 rupees (in a chest accessible after beating the Thieves' Hideout)
