Tower of Hera East

Before arriving, ensure you have completed the "The Zora’s Flippers" section to obtain the Letter in a Bottle. While not strictly necessary for this area, delivering the Premium Milk now can save time later. Be aware that this area can be challenging early in the game.

From the Tower of Hera weather vane, proceed one screen to the right. Continue right until you encounter a broken bridge. Use the Hookshot to fire at the wooden pole on the opposite side to cross the gap.

After crossing the bridge, you will reach the summit. Make your way quickly to the right, avoiding the powerful centaur-like Lynels. Take the exit located in the top-right corner.

You will enter a large mountainous area with a peak in the center. Head towards the right side of the peak to find **Maimai #27** on the wall.

Proceed to the bottom of the peak to discover a cave. Inside, you will find a puzzle room that requires the Hookshot and Link's merge ability.

From the cave entrance, use the Hookshot on the wooden frame ahead. Link will hit the wall. As soon as the "Merge (A)" icon appears, press A to merge into the wall.

Once merged, move left or right and emerge when there is a safe space for Link's feet.

Head up the stairs and use the Hookshot on the wooden frame again. Merge into the wall as before.

From this merged position, move left and emerge when the moving wire mesh platform is directly underneath you.

Wait for the wire mesh platform to align with the wall on the left. If it moves the other way, merge back into the wall you came from. Then, merge to the left and walk right until you reach a ledge.

On the ledge, use the Hookshot to target and activate a pull switch. This will cause a stationary wire mesh platform to appear. Step onto this platform and collect the rupees.
