Follow this guide to navigate Snowy Death Mountain (West) in The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, find Maimai #95 and #96, and defeat the Giant Ice Gimos for 100 rupees.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
Warp to Death Mountain in Hyrule. From the weather vane, merge into the wall above and walk left towards the doorway to Lorule.
  2. 2
In Lorule, continue left without emerging from the wall to find a ledge with a skull. Smash the skull to reveal Maimai #95.
  3. 3
Drop down from the ledge and head down. Be wary of the Snow Hinox.
  4. 4
Drop down again to find a cave with fairies inside.
  5. 5
From the cave, follow the path all the way right and exit the screen to the right.
  6. 6
Here, there are two big rocks ahead. Lift the top-most rock to find Maimai #96.
  7. 7
Head back left to the previous screen. Make your way right, keeping to the path above.
  8. 8
At the end, climb the long flight of stairs up, then turn right.
  9. 9
You’ll come across a peculiar pattern on the floor resembling a mask or pair of goggles.
  10. 10
Head right from this pattern to find another pattern: a large ring with a small circle in the middle, surrounded by gargoyle statues.
  11. 11
Get close to the center and the Giant Ice Gimos will awaken. Wait for it to land, then melt it with the Fire Rod.
  12. 12
Next, the four smaller Ice Gimos will awaken. If you melted the giant one with the Fire Rod, these should be manageable.
  13. 13
Once all enemies are defeated, a chest will appear in the middle of the pattern containing 100 rupees.
Tips
  • If you've been diligently collecting items throughout the guide, this area may contain the last Maimai and Pieces of Heart needed to complete your collection.
