Alright, so we've talked about how the game evolves and why understanding 'Dominant Timeframes' is super important. Now, let's dive into the nitty-gritty of the Tool Age and what your options are. Knowing these strategies and how they play out will help you guess what your enemy might do and pick the perfect civilization for your own game plan.

For this section, we're mostly focusing on attacks that happen during the Tool Age, but we'll also touch on strategies that just set you up for attacks later in the Bronze Age.

Here are the main strategies and how they fit into the Tool Age:

1. Boom (aiming to transition to Bronze Age)
2. Pass (aiming to transition to Bronze Age)
3. Probe to Play (aiming to transition to Bronze Age)
4. Push (an option during Tool Age)
5. Rush (an attack strategy during Tool Age)
6. Blitz (an attack strategy during Tool Age)

Pretty much every game, right after the Stone Age, a good player has to lock in their strategy. Your civilization choice and the units you plan to use are a huge part of that decision. After that, I'll walk you through a basic start for your first five Villagers – this is pretty standard no matter what strategy you pick. We'll then quickly cover the Boom, Pass, and Probe to Play strategies (since they don't involve a serious Tool Age attack). Finally, we'll get into the details of the Tool Push, Tool Rush, and the less common Tool Blitz.
