BoneLab Hub: Navigate the Special Projects Area

The BONELAB Hub, (also known as the Special Projects Area) is the second, titular level of _BONELAB_ and the main hub of the game. It serves as the access point to the six main gamemodes and a central turning point of the main campaign. It contains six modules, which allow the Avatar to access various themed maps. It also contains a Bodymall where various avatars can be set.

Walkthrough

The level begins in the Conceptual Isolation Chamber. Exit by prying open the doors or escaping through the roof hatch to find yourself in the Special Projects Area.

Explore three modules as tasked by the bulletin board.

Once three modules are explored, energy cores will unlock above them. Progress to the control room.

Pilot a BOSSCLAW using the provided controls (lever for extension/retraction, directional movement, button to toggle magnetic gravity field).

Using the minimap, pilot the BOSSCLAW to the unlocked energy cores and activate the gravity field to attract them.

Bring the attracted energy cores to one of the six flanking tubes. They will snap into place when close enough.

Attach energy cores to any three pipes to unlock the massive quarantine airlock to the right of the control room.

After progressing further in the game and returning to the Hub, explore the remaining modules and retrieve their cores.

Once all six cores are attached to their pipes, the BONEWORKS door to the right of the control area will be openable.

To access the Hidden Room, enter the metal vents underneath the lab. Find corridors leading to two walls with hand-drawn doors. Use a keycard found in Stress Level Zero's offices to cross one of the walls and reach a room connected to the Lab, physically present underneath MythOS City District 05. The purpose of the second hand-drawn door is unknown.
