Master the BONELAB Hub! Learn how to unlock the left and right sides, pilot the BOSSCLAW, and find the hidden room to progress in your BONELAB adventure.
Alright, so you've made it to the BONELAB Hub, the main area where you'll access all the game's modes. Think of it as your central command post. You'll start out in the Conceptual Isolation Chamber and need to get out. You can either force the doors open or find a way through the roof hatch. Once you're out, you'll hear the track Would You Even Know playing, and you'll see a bulletin board that tasks you with exploring three different modules.
Unlocking the Left Side:
After you've checked out those first three modules, you'll see boxes with energy cores appear above them, creating these cool pillars of light. Your next move is to head to the control room. Inside, you'll get to pilot a BOSSCLAW. You can extend and retract it with a lever, move it around on its rails, and even toggle its magnetic gravity field with a button. Use the minimap to guide the BOSSCLAW to those energy cores. When you get close, the gravity field will pull them in. Then, you need to bring the attached cores to one of the six tubes flanking the control room. They'll snap into place when you're near. Get three cores into the tubes, and the big quarantine airlock to your right will open up.
Unlocking the Right Side:
Later in the game, after you're returned to the Hub, you'll need to explore the remaining modules and grab their cores, just like before. Once all six cores are in their respective pipes, the BONEWORKS door to the right of the control area will be ready for you to open.
Hidden Room:
If you're feeling adventurous, head into the metal vents beneath the lab. You'll find some corridors that lead to walls with hand-drawn doors. If you've found one of the keycards from Stress Level Zero's offices, you can use it to pass through one of these walls. This will take you to a room connected to the Lab, but it's actually located underneath District 05 of MythOS City. There's another hand-drawn door on a second wall, but its purpose is still a mystery.
