Your essential guide to the BoneLab Hub! Learn how to unlock modules, pilot the BOSSCLAW, and discover hidden areas in this critical walkthrough.

Alright, so you've just crashed into the BONELAB Hub, also known as the Special Projects Area. This is basically your main base of operations for the game, and it's where you'll be jumping off to all the different game modes. Think of it as the central hub for everything in BoneLab.

You'll start by exiting the Conceptual Isolation Chamber. You can either force the doors open or find a way out through the roof hatch. As soon as you're out, you'll hear the track Would You Even Know playing. Look around for a bulletin board – it's going to give you the rundown on the three main modules you need to explore first.

Unlocking the Left Side

After you've checked out those first three modules, keep an eye out for glowing pillars of light. These mark the energy cores you need. Your next big task is to head to the control room. Inside, you'll get to pilot a BOSSCLAW. You've got a lever to extend and retract it, controls to move it forward and side-to-side along its tracks, and a button to toggle its magnetic gravity field. Use your minimap to guide the BOSSCLAW to those energy cores. Once they're close, activate the magnetic field and they'll snap right onto it. Then, you just need to bring them over to one of the six tubes flanking the control room. They'll automatically lock into place when you're close enough. Get three cores into the pipes, and that massive quarantine airlock on the right side of the control room will open up for you.

Unlocking the Right Side

Later on, after you've progressed further and been sent back to the Hub, you'll need to tackle the remaining modules and grab their cores, just like before. Once all six energy cores are secured in their pipes, the BONEWORKS door, located to the right of the control area, will finally be openable.

Hidden Room

For those of you who love to explore off the beaten path, there's a hidden area. Head into the metal vents located beneath the main lab. You'll find a network of corridors that eventually lead to two walls with hand-drawn doors. If you've found one of the keycards (you can find them in Stress Level Zero's offices), you can use it to pass through one of these walls. Doing so will land you in a room that's connected to the Lab but is physically located underneath District 05 of MythOS City. The purpose of that second hand-drawn door is still a bit of a mystery!
