Allied Mission 1: The Iron Curtain is part of the Red Alert campaign in Command & Conquer Remastered Collection. This mission will introduce players to the core gameplay loop of gathering resources, building a platoon, and engaging in warfare. Like all missions, it contributes to a gradually increasing difficulty curve as the campaign unfolds.

Command & Conquer gameplay involves gathering resources to build a strong platoon, then eliminating all enemies or capturing and destroying their fixed structures. Missions are designed with a gradually increasing difficulty. The Remastered Collection integrates expansion packs like 'The Covert Operations' for Tiberian Dawn, and 'Counterstrike' and 'The Aftermath' for Red Alert. Original console-exclusive missions are also included. Graphics and cinematics are up-scaled to 4K, and in-game models are reconstructed for clarity. Players can switch between original and remastered graphics on the fly, zoom the camera, and benefit from a reworked sidebar, updated missions, hot-keys, and controls.
