The Allied missions in The Aftermath often demand a more tactical approach, leveraging new units like the Chrono Tank and Mechanized Infantry effectively. Resource management and swift base defense are paramount.

Mission 1: Shock Therapy

Objective: Destroy the Soviet research facility and capture the prototype Chrono device.

1. Initial Setup: You start with a small force including a few Light Tanks and Rockets Soldiers. Immediately move your Engineers towards the abandoned Power Plant and Barracks to the north-east of your starting position.
2. Secure the Base: Once the structures are captured, quickly build a Refinery and start harvesting ore. Deploy Pillboxes and Anti-Aircraft Guns around your base perimeter, especially to the north and east, as Soviet Tanks and MiG Fighters will be probing your defenses.
3. Early Assault: The Soviet research facility is located in the center of the map, heavily guarded. Focus on building a mixed force of Medium Tanks and Rockets Soldiers. A few Artillery units can be invaluable for softening up defenses from a distance.
4. Infiltrate and Capture: The prototype Chrono device is housed within a specific building inside the research facility. You'll need to clear a path for an Engineer to capture it. Consider using a small squad of Tanya (if available) or Spies to disable defenses or power plants before your main assault. Target the Tesla Coils first, as they pose a significant threat to your tanks.
5. Final Push: Once the path is clear, send in your Engineer to capture the Chrono device. Be prepared for a counter-attack as the Soviets realize their prize is being taken.

Mission 2: The Gauntlet

Objective: Escort the convoy of Chrono Tanks through hostile territory to the designated rendezvous point.

1. Convoy Protection: You begin with a small base and a convoy of three Chrono Tanks. Your primary goal is to keep these tanks alive. Do not engage in unnecessary combat with them; their strength lies in their ability to teleport.
2. Base Defense & Reinforcements: Immediately establish a strong defensive perimeter around your starting base. Build Pillboxes and Anti-Aircraft Guns. Start producing Medium Tanks and Rockets Soldiers to support the convoy.
3. Navigating the Terrain: The path to the rendezvous point is winding and heavily defended by Soviet Heavy Tanks, Tesla Coils, and Flame Towers. Use your Chrono Tanks to bypass heavily fortified chokepoints. Teleport them past defenses, then use your conventional forces to clear the path for your support units.
4. Key Locations:
   • Northern Bridge: Expect heavy resistance here. Consider using Artillery to destroy the Tesla Coils guarding the bridge before moving your convoy across.
   • Central Valley: This area is often patrolled by V2 Rocket Launchers. Prioritize their destruction with fast units like Light Tanks or Attack Helicopters if you have them.
   • Rendezvous Point (South-East): The final stretch will be heavily defended. Ensure your support forces are intact for a final push.
5. Chrono Tank Tactics: Use the Chrono Tanks' teleportation ability strategically. Teleport them behind enemy lines to destroy critical structures like Power Plants or War Factories, disrupting Soviet production and defenses. However, remember they are vulnerable when uncloaked and teleporting.

Mission 3: Temporal Anomaly

Objective: Destroy the Soviet Iron Curtain device and prevent its activation.

1. Resource Scarcity: This mission often starts with limited resources. Focus on efficient ore harvesting and power management. Build a Service Depot early to repair damaged units, saving valuable funds.
2. Scouting is Key: Send a Ranger or Spy to scout the map. The Soviet base is typically located in the north-west, with the Iron Curtain device at its core. Identify key defensive structures like Tesla Coils and Flak Cannons.
3. New Unit Integration: You'll gain access to Mechanized Infantry in this mission. These units are excellent against infantry and light vehicles, and their speed makes them good for flanking maneuvers. Pair them with Grizzly Tanks for a balanced assault force.
4. Targeting the Iron Curtain: The Iron Curtain is heavily protected. A direct assault is often suicidal.
   • Option A (Air Superiority): If you have access to Aircraft Carriers or Harrier Jets, focus on destroying the surrounding Flak Cannons first. Then, use air power to bomb the Iron Curtain from above.
   • Option B (Ground Assault & Chrono Tanks): Build a strong ground force of Medium Tanks, Artillery, and Rockets Soldiers. Use Chrono Tanks to teleport directly into the Soviet base, targeting Power Plants to disable defenses before your main force arrives.
   • Option C (Engineer Rush - High Risk): A risky but potentially fast strategy involves using Engineers to capture the Iron Curtain directly. This requires a very precise and well-timed diversionary attack to draw enemy fire away from your Engineers.
5. Defensive Posture: Be wary of Soviet counter-attacks, especially Mammoth Tanks and V2 Rocket Launchers. Keep your base well-defended with Patriot Missile Systems and Pillboxes.
