You'll start in The Barrens. First things first, you need to sync up your Sparrow. Just follow your Ghost's lead and head to the bunker on the right. Deploy your Ghost there.

This is where the Cabal make their entrance. Watch out for the Phalanx – they've got shields that block everything, so you'll need to shoot them in the hand to make them drop it before going for a headshot. The Centurion is another one to watch out for; they have a Solar Shield and lob explosive rounds, so keep moving.

Once you've dealt with those initial enemies, hop on your Sparrow. You'll be riding through the Scablands, where both Vex and Cabal are duking it out. Your goal is Giant's Pass.

As you enter Giant's Pass, you'll run into more Phalanxes and Legionaries. Your objective here is to find a computer on the left side of the area and scan it.

After you scan the computer, a dropship will arrive, bringing some heavy hitters. Keep an eye out for Bracus Thoourg, a Major Centurion who's got the access key we need. He won't be alone; he's got Psions with him, which are small but dangerous enemies, kind of like Dregs. You'll want to take cover and avoid their blasts before focusing on Bracus.

Bracus himself uses a rocket launcher and is pretty good at dodging. Use the boulders scattered around the area for cover to avoid his powerful rockets.

With Bracus defeated and the access key in hand, you'll need to push through the next Cabal outpost in the Valley of the Kings. Be careful and try to stick to the center or right side, as there are some powerful Vex lurking on the left.

Find the device inside the building and scan it. Once that's done, you'll need to head back to the Tower. Your reward for all this? A sweet Sparrow Upgrade!

Tips

When fighting Phalanxes, aim for their hands to break their shields. It's the most reliable way to open them up for damage.
Psions can be a real nuisance if you let them swarm you. Prioritize taking them out quickly after dealing with Bracus's initial assault.
Use your Sparrow to quickly navigate between areas, especially when heading to Giant's Pass and back to the Tower. It saves a lot of time.
