- 1Before advancing the story in final fantasy iii, go treasure hunting in Canaan.
- 2You can walk in the water in this town. Head to the northeastern part of town and use the stairs to go along the river.
- 3At the end of the river path, you will find a chest containing an Elixir. Save this Elixir and do not use it yet.
- 4Go to the northwestern house where Cid lives. Speak with Cid.
- 5Use the Elixir you saved on Mrs. Cid to cure her.
- 6After curing Mrs. Cid, examine the sparkly lamp in the room to open a secret passage.
- 7In the secret area, you will find a Potion, three Phoenix Downs, a Gold Needle, two Gnomish Breads, one Blind spell, the Great Bow, and an Iron Arrow.
- 8Go east through the southeastern corner of this secret area to find two more chests. Each of these chests contains 2,000 Gil.
- 9Go into the house that is connected to the Inn. Inside, you will find a Gold Needle and a Mallet.
- 10After collecting these items, you can now advance the plot.
Tips
- The Item Shop sells Fire, Sleep, and Blizzard spells for 100 Gil each. Echo Herbs and Gold Needles also cost 100 Gil.
- The Weapon Shop sells the Mythril Rod for 400 Gil, the Mythril Sword for 500 Gil, and the Mythril Knife for 400 Gil.
- The Armor Shop sells Mythril Armor for 350 Gil, Mythril Helm for 130 Gil, Mythril Bracers for 120 Gil, Mythril Shield for 180 Gil, and Mythril Gloves for 120 Gil.
- The Magic Shop sells Cure for 100 Gil. Poison, Thunder, and Blind spells each cost 700 Gil.
