Boss: Leviathan

  • Stats / Weaknesses: Level 43, Max HP 32,000, EXP 20,000, Gil 17,100. Weak to Thunder/Lightning.
  • Abilities: Can attack twice per turn, uses physical attacks, Protect, and water-based attacks.
  • Strategy: Use Thundara or Thundaga spells. The Ninja class can deal significant damage by Throwing Thunder/Lightning elemental weapons like Platinum Hammers, Spark Daggers, Serpent Swords, Books/Tomes of Light, and Thunder Spears. Scholars can use Zeus’s Wrath (Thundara) and Heavenly Wrath (Thundaga). The Spark Summon is also effective. Use Protect for defense and Haste on physical attackers. Dragoons should use Jump. Keep Curaga/Curaja ready for healing and Erase or Scholar's Study to remove Leviathan's Protect.
Tips
  • Ensure you have fought one of each monster in this area for your Bestiary.
  • Collect all items before leaving Lake Dohr, as you cannot return.
  • The Ninja class is highly recommended for its Throw command, especially with lightning-elemental weapons.
  • Classes like Scholar can utilize powerful offensive spells effectively.
