This guide details the locations of Chocographs in Final Fantasy IX, which allow you to dig up hidden treasures. Some treasures require specific Chocobo abilities to access.

1. Chocograph 01 - Streamside
   Obtained: Chocobo’s Forest
   Treasures: Elixir (x2), Hi-Potion (x3), Ether (x4), Germinas Boots (x2)
   Location: On the Mist Continent, west of Chocobo’s Forest. Follow the river to the ocean, and search the beach where the river meets the sea.
2. Chocograph 02 - Between Mountains
   Obtained: Chocobo’s Forest
   Treasures: Potion (x5), Hi-Potion (x5), Tent (x2), Cotton Robe (x2)
   Location: On the Mist Continent, near Qu’s Marsh. Go to the Dragon’s Gate exit of Lindblum, follow the mountains west until you are sandwiched between two small mountains.
3. Chocograph 03 - Uncultivated Land
   Obtained: Forest
   Treasures: Antidote (x10), Jade Armlet (x1), Wing Edge (x3), Cargo Ship Card (x1)
   Note: Requires Mountain Ability to reach treasure.
   Location: East side of the river south of Treno. Find the marshy land shaped like a “C.”
4. Chocograph 04 - Healing Shore
   Obtained: Chocobo’s Forest
   Ability Gained: Reef
   Treasures: None listed.
   Location: On the Mist Continent, in the area of Cleyra and Burmecia. North of Cleyra, find a gap in the mountains with a beach. Search the grassy area facing the gap from the beach. This grants the Reef Ability, allowing travel across shallow waters from beaches.
5. Chocograph 05 - Abandoned Beach
   Obtained: Chocobo’s Forest
   Treasures: Phoenix Pinion (x9), Phoenix Down (x5), Peridot (x12), Diamond Gloves (x1)
   Location: On the Outer Continent, north of Qu’s Marsh. Head south from the chocobo tracks until you reach the beach. Search the land in the middle of the beach.
6. Chocograph 06 - Cold Field
   Obtained: Chocobo’s Forest
   Treasures: Echo Screen (x5), Hi-Potion (x7), Tent (x3), Theater Ship Card (x1)
   Note: Requires Blue Narciss to reach.
   Location: On the Lost Continent (northwest). Find the shore east of Esto Gaza.
7. Chocograph 07 - Forgotten Lagoon
   Obtained: Chocobo’s Lagoon
   Ability Gained: Reef
   Treasures: Gysahl Greens (x8), Ether (x5), Hi-Potion (x7), Dragon’s Claws (x1)
   Location: South by southwest from Chocograph 06’s location, into the waters. If only using Reef Ability, follow shallow waters east on the northern side of the western continent until a dead end.
8. Chocograph 08 - Faraway Lagoon
   Obtained: Chocobo’s Forest
   Ability Gained: Reef
   Treasures: Potion (x37), Magic Tag (x6), Shield Armor (x1), Gaia Gear (x1)
   Location: Western side of the western continent. Find tracks on an island off the west coast. Use shallow waters to go north, then head south on the other side. Search inlets near the second island off the shore.
9. Chocograph 09 - Abandoned Lagoon
   Obtained: Chocobo’s Lagoon
   Ability Gained: Reef
   Treasures: Soft (x6), Ether (x4), Feather Boots (x1), N-Kai Armlet (x1)
