Revisiting Madain Sari

Exit the Iifa Tree and return to the Mountain Path.

Take the right path and the larger root to reach the world map near Madain Sari.

Enter Madain Sari and follow Eiko back to her home.

Equip Zidane with a Power Belt (if you have it) and the Counter ability. Prioritize defense and Auto-Haste if possible.

Enter Eiko's home and go to the kitchen to find a hidden doorway behind the moogles.

Enter the hidden room and loot the two chests for a Survival Vest and Phoenix Down.

Return to the main part of town and head north to the Eidolon Wall.

Approach the entrance; Morrison will offer healing.

Peek inside to receive an Exploda and Elixir.

A new option will appear from Morrison, leading to a scene and a solo battle with Zidane.

Defeat the Scarlet Hair. Use physical attacks when it stops moving (indicated by "Here I go,") and heal if Zidane's health drops below 500. Avoid attacking when it's dancing.

After the battle, return to Eiko's house, to the room where the item was stolen, and watch a scene to receive the Memory Earring.

Exit Eiko's home; an icon will appear on the landing. Interact with it to trigger scenes.

As the party prepares to leave, Scarlet Hair rejoins and joins your party as Amarant.

Choose your party of four. Zidane must stay. Vivi is recommended. Choose between Dagger and Eiko for the remaining two slots (Eiko is a better white mage, Dagger a better summoner). The recommended party is Zidane, Amarant, Vivi, and Eiko.

If Amarant is in your party, equip him with Poison Knuckles from Morrison and any other available gear.

Your next destination is the Iifa Tree.
