Niles is a Nohrian former thief and Leo's retainer. He had a tough childhood as an orphan and now acts relaxed and mature, though he loves to flirt with everyone just to see their reactions. He's also quite the stargazer!

In Fire Emblem Fates: Revelation, Niles joins a bit late and isn't the strongest unit right off the bat. His stats can be a bit unbalanced, especially when compared to Leo, who joins around the same time but is already a promoted unit and much more powerful. Plus, Revelation gives you other great archer options like Takumi with his divine bow, making Niles less essential. Even his unique Locktouch skill, which was a big deal in Conquest, is now shared by other Ninjas.

Honestly, unless you're really set on building up a powerful Nina (and remember, Nina can only be recruited if Niles marries the male Avatar), there's not much reason to invest heavily in Niles. He might not be the top pick for your team in this route.
